12/23/2018 DAY 805. Silkworm SpinningDAY 805. Ethan found a bar of honeycomb in an abandoned hive for me, for my chaxi. Chaxi translates to “tea stage;” it’s the setting one makes space for during tea ceremony. I’m always on the lookout for plant, mineral, or other natural treasures who offer themselves to be a part of my tea sits. The honeycomb has been with me on all three sits since it’s been in the house. I am mesmerized. Bringing me a hum of bee medicine and making me see myself from here. All that past-Qi flying around it. Poetry, this life.
